Halfway between classical Hatha and contemporary Vinyasa, a Hatha Flow class draws from the pool of traditional yoga postures and introduces fluid movement linked to the breath. Uniting care and intensity, Hatha Flow classes tend to have a longer warm-up. You will strengthen the body carefully and deeply, avoiding speed in order to go deeper into the heart of the movements.
Millie Deniset
A professional actress, Millie discovered yoga 12 years ago and it quickly became a passion and a way of life.
She trained with Gérard Arnaud in vinyasa yoga and she continues to study with him. She also practices ashtanga and hatha yoga, notably in India, where she regularly goes on retreat. She also completed training with Bernadette de Gasquet in pre- and post- natal yoga and with Cécile Roubaud in yin yoga.
Yoga calls each moment into question as we seek balance. There is a constant back and forth between the body and the mind, an internal circulation that nourishes and constructs practitioners.
Beyond just physical well-being, yoga also offers the possibility to feel more alive, more present in the world.
Millie hopes to share this aspiration in her teaching, which begins with careful attention to alignment and working with each individual participant.
