What are the specific stretching and strenghtening exercises that contribute to back comfort and injury prevention?

 

We will be focused on the back and everything linked to the spine and musculature of this key part of the body.

 

We will look at the link between back muscles and core abdominal muscles on the front of the body.

 

We will also try to understand and feel when we are correctly balanced on the central axis, which opens up the entire question of when a yoga posture is done "correctly" or not.

 

The practice will build from the ground up, moving through lying, seated and standing postures as we explore the eight fundamental movements of the spine.
